Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.escapefromstl.com/ (the “Site”) and any bookings, purchases, gift cards, or services provided by Escape From St. Louis (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or booking/purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
1) Bookings and purchases
Reservations, tickets, gift cards, and other purchases are subject to availability and confirmation.
You agree to provide accurate information when booking or purchasing.
2) Pricing, taxes, and payments
Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise.
Taxes/fees (if applicable) will be shown at checkout.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We are not responsible for provider outages or processing delays.
3) Cancellations, rescheduling, and deposit policy
You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment time for a credit applied to your account or for a refund minus the credit card processing costs associated.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, you forfeit your $80 deposit.
If something comes up within 24 hours, please still contact us — our staff will try to work with you when possible, but changes aren’t guaranteed and may depend on availability.
4) Arrival time and late arrivals
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Late arrivals may reduce your play time and may be treated as a no-show depending on scheduling constraints.
5) Participant requirements and conduct
Participants must follow staff instructions and safety rules.
We may refuse service or remove participants for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.
6) Assumption of risk
Escape room experiences may involve moving through themed spaces, low lighting, sound effects, and physical interaction with props. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own physical limitations.
7) Gift cards
Gift cards are non-refundable except where required by law.
Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaceable; please treat them like cash.
Gift cards may be used only as permitted through our checkout/booking system and may be subject to additional restrictions shown at purchase.
8) Intellectual property
All Site content (text, images, branding, logos, and game content) is owned by or licensed to Escape From St. Louis and may not be copied or used without permission.
9) Website use
You agree not to misuse the Site (including attempting to disrupt, hack, scrape, or interfere with Site functionality).
10) Third-party services and links
The Site may include third-party tools or links (e.g., analytics, advertising, payment processing). Their services are governed by their own terms and policies.
11) Disclaimers
We provide the Site and services “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Site will be error-free.
12) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Escape From St. Louis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the applicable booking/purchase.
13) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
14) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
